The title comes from the New York bestseller "You are a Badass" and from a stereotypical perception of the title, this is not telling you that what happens around is not your fault and you should not let it phase (at parts maybe), but its produced to convey the following:

1 - You CONTROL your life

2 - You have all the POWER to change your reality whenever you want 

3 - Your MIND is your manifestation tool

...and more along the lines of "life truly is what you make it", because your mind really is your bitch.

I'm not just going to vomit out a bunch of spiritual and philosophical ideas out on you, but one that has been made aware across the world is 'The Law of Attraction', heavily acknowledged by the documentary 'The Secret'.

The Law of Attraction stands as " the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life."

It is the idea that what we believe and feel is what we will attract into reality. It can also be seen from the perspective as the energy of your daydreams being transferred into reality. 

Its sense of simplicity is what can almost make it come across as crazy and silly, but giving it a go, alters your perception on your reality allowing you to either make a positive situation out of your circumstances, or not so desired, negative manifestations. 

An easy concept to get your head around it may be the seeing it as "what you want has already occurred in the future and is now piece by piece, through every interaction of your days, is adding up to your desire".

It helps keep you positive and almost excited for life, the idea is to know what you want and let the universe unfold how, without you questioning it; going with the flow of the energy you give out. 

Now, I'm hoping to start a spiritual/life hack/good vibes concept on my YouTube channel, were eventually I will do an in-depth video on manifestations etc.

However to ease you in a bit, writing down what you want/thinking about what you want and believing you already have it allows you to send the energy to the universe of you accepting it as your reality and therefore allows you to align up with the desire for it to reach your reality.

Accept your reality through belief before it appears. 

Get over wanting evidence before you believe and watch everything you want fall in place.

I HIGHLY recommend watching 'The Secret' or grabbing the book, either or will fill you with the simplicity and high power of the Law of Attraction.

Give it a go and see what your own energy and the power of your thoughts can create for you.

Without allowing yourself to be knowledge, you'll never understand or appreciate what the LOA is or holds for you.

2016 was the year of loving and losing loved ones, as well as a whole load of personal growth. It wasn't the best of years, but reflecting back on where I started and how I ended, I'm grateful for having taken lessons from the lows and using them for self-improvement. 

Despite the ratio being more negative to positive, one of my proudest achievements for 2016 was getting into University. I started somewhere new and have met some of the best people so far. University is an individual experience, but for me it is being a very good one. I'm constantly opening my eyes to so many opportunities and realising there is so much out there that can help you achieve where you want to be. 

Alongside with these opportunities, your mindset is one of the most powerful tools for achievement.

If you believe you can and will, you'll begin to believe in yourself more and find the motivation to make what you want a reality. Personally, I want 2017 to be the year of more life and as Marc Jacobs states, lets do what we love and do a lot of it. This for me, refers to focusing on my degree and working hard on my YouTube and Blog which I relaunched last summer. 

I think one of the major setbacks for this can be that not everyone can agree or understand what you do and why you do it. That's the thing though, you do not have to explain what makes you happy to no one. It's none of their business and their opinion should not have any affect on whether you choose to make your happiness a priority. To sum it all up, doing what you love, really should not be anyones business to tell you whether you should or shouldn't. Do you and do it confidently.

With all that in mind ... 2017 is the year of making myself proud, making memories that will last a lifetime and purely enjoying the wonders of life. I have no idea what is to come, but keeping a positive mind frame and forcing myself to see the positive version of everything will allow no low point to bring me down.  I hope you find the confidence and courage to be happy this year with what you do and who you choose to be surronded by and the memories you choose to create. 

You will end this year differently to how you have begun and that change will most definitely be a positive one, as long as you keep your mindset full of good vibes. Every negative will help you grow positively and you'll constantly be becoming a better you. 

I wish you all the best in your hopes and dreams for the year and remember... start the way you wish to carry on - here's to more life in 2017.

It's something we all have within ourselves or something we all desire to obtain for something that peaks our interest. 

Every individual has their own, it may be the same as someone else's, but your thought processes, creativity and way of expressing your passion will always have your own unique touch to it. 

If I was to view this from a personal narrative, then I've always been a "girly-girl" who loves everything to do with fashion and beauty, but alongside this I've always had a creative spark. This meant, combining the two, I could express my likes and inspire people through publishing a blog and YouTube videos that allow me to add some creativity and help others with my interest. 

It also allows me to do something with my passion and really play around with all things fashion and beauty, which keeps me busy with everything I love and helps express who I like to identify as. 

No matter what happens to be your passion, that you choose to be open with and express, you have to be prepared that not everyone will hold your perspective. This will always result in some sort of criticism, but its up to you to simply force yourself to ignore it and focus on why YOU enjoy it.

At the end of the day, you're doing it for yourself, because its your passion and not theirs, therefore you cannot expect everyone to understand your interest...but thats not your problem. 

One of the best pieces of advice I could give is to always remember why you started and where you started from. This will help you see the positive and keep you going by putting everything into perspective once again.

Whatever you want to pursue you have, by all means, the right to do so. If you're being true to yourself and truly do enjoy what you do, you'll never complain or wish to be in someone else's position in life. This even applies for people who have similar interests to you, its not a race and every one goes at their own pace because despite being similar passions, it is still unique to you.

I mean, I actually created my blog and YouTube account years ago, but only this year do I feel like I've been of the right mindset to start it properly and be consistent. This allows me to really set both of them in stone, which I feel I never did due to inconsistency, now I feel like I'm old enough to take it all seriously and do a lot more with both of them.

So with that being said... Here's to fresh starts and giving your all into what you enjoy.

Hey Everyone,

As September has come to a close and we are already half way through October, I thought this was the perfect time to sit down and update you on where life stands as of now. 

I've just started University in Nottingham (NTU) where I've begun to study Fashion Communication and Promotion. This particular subject area has always been of interest to me and I was always certain, from a young age, that my creativity and love for fashion definitely was a pathway I would like to pursue on at University. 

Nottingham itself is a very creative city which consists of vintage shops to theatres to boutiques to museums and galleries, all of which are a great source of inspiration. Therefore it academically held a great advantage to study Fashion in a City fuelled with varied inspiration outlets. It also holds a great social atmosphere, which you definitely need at university to enjoy your time there and be happy and comfortable with your atmosphere. 

Freshers was definitely a bunch of crazy nights full of bonding with your fellow peers within your accommodation and really beginning to feel at home. After that came societies and without a doubt, one that I joined was The Fashion Society. All the events/societies and clubs you interact with after freshers is definitely where you begin to branch out from your accommodation friends and find those who love the same things as you! Before you know it you have various circles of friendship groups, all that have a different impact on your life at university. 

However, after all the 'no sleep' days (which, by the way, feel like they are still never ending) came waking up for 9am's ...

They do say that the best thing to do in life is what you enjoy and that is exactly what I've chosen to do. I feel as if my project briefs and research are all things I would consider to carry out in my free time; everything I love to do, day to day, is what I'm being set to do within my course. Therefore, it does truly speak for itself, that this course was the best decision I could've decided upon.

Now, university life itself is very different from a standard day in school/college. It feels almost like lectures and seminars are rather full of conversations with people who share the same passions, rather than just being told a bunch of "information", it really does feel like talking to a bunch of friends. 

The ease of settling in due to this really does fuel you up on excitement for the next 3 years of your life, as they truly will be full of experiences and opportunities I will love. 

From travelling to sharing my creativity with you guys, I will definitely keep you updated and more of an insight into the content of my course on further blogposts to come!
